v-braces3.jpgOrthodontic treatment is available to patients of all ages. Between the ages of 11-14, your child may already have most of their permanent teeth erupted. At this age, the permanent second molars are erupting or have erupted, which we believe allows for the optimal time to begin orthodontic treatment.

Each patient’s orthodontic condition requires a treatment plan based on a specialized diagnosis of the case. The orthodontic process involves an initial examination or first visit, orthodontic X-rays, study model impressions and digital diagnostic photographs.  Treatment time varies depending on age, patient compliance, and the severity of the condition.

Teens who complete orthodontic treatment during the adolescent years can gain tremendous confidence and enjoy their new smile for senior prom, senior pictures, and graduation!
