To say this summer has been "different" would be quite the understatement. While most things have been interrupted, your journey to a gorgeous smile isn’t! Summertime is an excellent time for braces. Typically, schedules are more flexible and provide the perfect opportunity to adjust to new routines—like brushing and flossing in braces and learning how to eat with braces. Teeth can move pretty quick; by the time your child returns to school they will have gained confidence in their new look! So if you have a break from your typical “busy” routine, now is the perfect time to prioritize your child’s smile.
Wondering if your child is ready for braces? The American Association of Orthodontics recommends all children be evaluated by an Orthodontist by age 7 to catch or prevent future problems. (Bonus - our consultations are complimentary!)
